Student Health Council (SHC) Hosts Hartselle Lecture
On April 16th, the SHC and Dr. Kelly Holder hosted a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy workshop. The event featured Dr. Stephanie Hartselle who specializes in anxiety, sleep, and emotion regulation.
30 students attended the workshop covering topics like the importance of maintaining healthy circadian rhythms, using tactile visualization techniques during stress, and addressing perfectionism and shame in medicine.

2nd Annual Health Workforce Well-Being Day and Change Maker Summit
Recently, Kelly Holder represented The Warren Alpert Medical School at the 2nd Annual Health Workforce Well-Being Day and Change Maker Summit at the National Academy of Science in Washington, DC. The Change Maker Campaign aims to advance the National Plan Priority Areas and spark a national movement to support health workforce well-being through facilitating collaboration, documenting impact, and amplifying solutions.

Doreen Wiggins, MD, MHL, FACOG, FACS, is a surgical oncologist at Brown Surgical Associates, Inc. She is an assistant clinical professor at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
